Brookside Resort is a peaceful Gatlinburg Hotel Resort, nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. From streamside rooms to rustic, cozy cabins, every traveler will feel right at home in any of our resort accommodations.
Brookside Resort offers over 100 rooms on 10 acres less than ½ mile from the main strip in Gatlinburg. Close to the city but country quiet, our comfortable accommodations provide the perfect “Smoky Mountain” get away. Some of the upgrades that we offer include wood-burning fireplaces (complete with wood when in season), kitchenettes and in-room whirlpool tubs.
Perhaps your group would prefer a cabin on the river as it flows out of the National Park. We have two, three and four bed-room cabins that sleep up to 22. Either way, Brookside the perfect choice for your Smoky Mountain vacation.
Our hot Continental breakfast features the “Brookside Breakfast Bowl” – sliced potatoes covered with grilled mushrooms, green peppers, onions, bacon, scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese. The property provides free parking, Wi-Fi, a state-of-the-art Exercise Room, guest laundry, river walk, covered bridges, basketball court, shuffle board and gardens. There are lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy!

I recommend the Fireside Tower rooms which have wood burning fire places! They are roomier and comfortable and you have a private balcony overlooking the babbling brook which is very peaceful after a long day of adventure. The price is reasonable and the longer you stay the more discount you get!

Brookside Resort announces to all of our past guests, we are under new management and we re-opened April 1, 2012.
We are working furiously to upgrade the pool, installing WiFi, upgrading our amenities and generally cleaning, painting and sprucing up the property. 
The positive responses we have received from past guests has been wonderful.
The Reagan’s created a large family of dedicated guests who have stayed with Brookside Resort since 1931. We are committed to continuing this family tradition. Many of you came here as children and now we hope you will bring your children and grandchildren — making even more memories here in the Great Smoky Mountains while staying at the Brookside Resort. .
My family and I have been staying here for about 6 years and we keep coming back. Brookside is a great family resort. The rooms are quite big. There is a balcony just outside your room that looks over the beautiful creek that is very peaceful especially at night.
We stayed here for 3 nights in June. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Two pools, kiddie pool, hot tub, exercise room, laundry facilities, hot breakfast, and an awesome view.The creekside view from every room is breathtaking as well! I highly recommend Brookside Resort and will stay there every time we are in the area!
